Summer Reading Program
Read Beyond the Beaten Path
What will the Summer Reading Program look like this year?
This year's Summer Reading Program, "Read Beyond the Beaten Path" is open for registration for Clinton Township Public Library patrons of all ages starting June 1st, 2022. Feel free to stop in to the library or register at home by going to ctpl.readsquared.com or downloading the ReadSquared app.
ReadSquared allows you to update your reading log and earn points from anywhere at any time, play minigames and monthly Summer Reading Bingo, and see our available prizes and events calendar all in one place! Family accounts can be created, allowing you to log for all members of your family under just one login. If you need any assistance please contact the library at (815) 264-3339 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
All ages will track their reading and earn points that can be redeemed for prizes as early as June 20th. Adults can also track their reading to be entered into raffles that will be drawn at the end of our summer reading program. Raffle prize options will be announced July 1st.
Each week we will be offering hands-on crafts and activities to keep kids engaged! We will also be partnering in both June and July with The Village Studio to offer free crafts and the Discovery Center for family STEM days. Registration will open on June 4th for our Mobile Adventures Escape Room "Battle for Justopolous" at the library!
Sign up for our email newsletter or follow along on ReadSquared or Facebook to stay up to date all summer long!
While we are excited to have you visiting the library for our summer reading program, we know that everyone has a different comfort level. We continue to offer curbside pickup of materials upon request, and will be happy to get your prizes to you that way as well. Our staff have the health and safety of our community at the forefront of our minds and continue to take steps to keep our spaces sanitized and follow local, state, and federal guidelines to the best of our abilities. We appreciate your continued patience and ask that you hang in there with us.
